    My entire experience with pergolas.com was exceptional. Easy contact, friendly staff, great communication and service throughout.
    The pergola shipping structure and delivery truck were amazing, the driver parked it right in my garage! Easy to follow instructions were much appreciated.
    You guys even included a can of wood stain inside to touch up the inevitable bumps and scratches that occur during construction. Very high quality product and unbelievable customer service experience. Thanks so much, very happy with our purchase.

    This is the best purchase we've made. In fact my son bought one and after helping him put his up we like it so much we ordered one also. It is very easy to install because everything is precut and all of the hardware was included.
    In fact if you plan on staining it I suggest to do what I did, to lay out the boards on sawhorses and do it before you put it together.
    My son didn't do it this way any waited till after we put it together and it was a mess do to trying to do it in the air and working on the plastic that he put down to catch the drippings. Yes we're very happy with it.

    Pergola replaced a Cruise cancelled by COVID. couldn't be happier. It's like adding a new room to our house. The product is great. Had a contractor put it together without issue. Hung the canopy with a friend. Easy enough.

    Delivery was pretty easy. A truck came and dropped off the large package as scheduled and we sorted out the pieces in our garage. It took the two of us about four hours total to assemble. It was very straightforward.
    We are thrilled with the appearance of our new pergola! It really finishes our backyard patio. The wood is high quality and smells so good! We love the cedar. Overall, the experience was very good.
    Delivery, assembly, and the product are as described. We are very pleased! Highly recommend. This product is of way higher quality than you will find in a box store.

    Our Pavilion is 16 x 12 with 9ft tall 8x8 posts. We received the Pavilion within the estimated delivery schedule that had been established on the order date. Everything was well packaged and securely wrapped.
    All the parts were included and the included directions were extremely accurate and detailed. I have been in construction for over 40 years and have built several homes .
    Don't let anyone tell you that a husband and wife team can install the large roof panels by themselves .
    There were four of us putting the large panels in place which fit perfectly but two of us could not have got them in place without a good probability of sustaining some damage. Everything else is easily done by two people.
    Everything was cut and went together exactly as show in the assembly booklet and as per our plans. My wife and I are extremely happy with the overall look and feel of the Pavilion.
    Very high quality materials were used, joinery was exceptionally well done and its obvious Pergola USA has done this many times.
    We had a couple of minor issues that came up but were quickly taken care of by the company and did not hold us up at all. The owner of the company and his management team was extremely responsive when we contacted them to resolve these minor issues.
    I had researched a number of companies that provide kit type Pavilions, and I'm sure there are others that would provide a nice product.
    However, Our dealings with this company was extremely professional, courteous and we felt we more then got our money's worth.
    As a side note, if anyone is considering using the 8x8 posts instead of the 6x6 posts and weighing the cost to upgrade, it is more then worth it to do this upgrade.
    Without a doubt using these posts gives the structure a very solid look and simply wouldn't look right with smaller posts.
    Should the opportunity ever come up again to consider another structure of this type I would not hesitate for a moment to place another order with Pergola USA. Thanks Fred for all your help.

    I was so impressed with the help everyone gave me for putting this package together. The workmanship of this project was superior of how this was to go together. Delivery to the west coast was spot on for unloading the unit on the yard.
    The assembly of the gazebo went perfectly. With the pandemic happening we are having a ton of fun with this new addition to our home.

    Overall we were pleased with the materials, structurual and engineering quality of the kit. The 2x4 top stringers have experienced some splitting along the grain beginning at the notch point.
    This occurred following installation and subsequent curing of the wood. A screw has or will be installed to snug up the 2x4 and prevent further run of the split.

    We love our custom pitched roof pergola based on one of the gazebo designs. We have used our deck every day this Summer enjoying its shade, instead of baking in the intense Summer sun.
    Amos was knowledgeable and offered good, timely advice during the design phase. He was particularly patient when we went through several design iterations. The quote was very reasonable. The communication was excellent throughout the process.
    The kit was delivered on time using a special, tipping trailer. We found it quick and easy to put together using the drawings provided. I highly recommend Pergola Kits USA.

    12 x 15 pergola took me about 7 hours to put up with teenage so. Helping and we aren't too skilled. Easy to order. 3-4 weeks from order showed up. Amazed at how easy it went up.
    Cost was about 1/2 of what landscapers quoted plus our pergola is higher quality.
    Very pleased and highly recommend!

    The product was custom made and the instructions were well documented and the assembly went smoothly over three days. The shipping and packaging was outstanding with all pieces wrapped carefully.
    This was a large pergola and has improved the beauty of our Memorial Garden that will last for many years.

    The product was delivered perfectly and assembly was done in two days by a two person team. Everyone that sees it is amazed by the look and quality. We enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish.

    Best purchase I made all year. The office/sales staff were great and answered all of my questions before my purchase. The delivery was actually earlier than expected. It took 2 of us about 6 hours to assemble.
    Later I added some cedar lattice on the top for some added shade. I have received a lot of compliments on my pergola. I figured that I saved about $2000 from buying a kit.
    The quality was much better than expected!

    I am a landscape designer and I specified and purchased a 10x14 cedar pergola for my client. We were both thrilled by the process from start to finish.
    The customer service was excellent, the delivery seamless, and my contractor was really impressed with the quality and ease of construction. We also purchase the shade canopy which is excellent as well.
    All in all it was a great experience working with Pergola Kits and I will certainly use them again.

    This is truly a structure of commercial quality! We have the Grand Pavillion. Heavy construction and went together according to the plans. I erected this kit alone with the use of an all terrain telescopic fork lift.
    I purchased the stainless steel Hardware kit am glad I did, no staining from rust of any kind. Very impressed with the physical size of the timbers and have no doubt this will last a lifetime. Friends and family can't believe the size and quality.
    This is not your typical kit this is an investment. I would recommend this model made to my specifications to anyone interested in a premium quality heavy construction kit. You will be impressed and proud to add this to your home.
    Only problem I've had is birds want to build nests in it in the spring had to install bird spikes to keep them out. This will add value to your home and just makes for a great outdoor space.
    Can't say enough about how much we like it!

    I can't say enough about this pavilion kit. It looks amazing. Better than I was expecting. We use it so much by our pool and in the cooler temps we eat outside by the fire pit. The kit was straightforward and easy to put together.
    And only one time did we have a question or two and they were excellent at responding to our phone call for an answer

    I purchased a Western Red Cedar rough sawn Pavilion Kit 22' long x 22' wide x 22' Tall from Fred. The assembly took 3 men and it was very easy and simple to put together with step by step instructions. Our family loves it.
    If I was in the market for a Pavilion I would buy another one. It saved me a lot of money verses buying one from a contractor and having it installed. It's a nice addition to our home, a great entertainment area, and all of guests love how it looks.

    In September 2018 I ordered a 12 X 16 pergola kit after having looked at kit installation in the area that Mr. Berg had set up after I had inquired if I could see one of his company's pergola in the Minneapolis area.
    The kit arrived in October 2018 by truck. You should have at least 1 or 2 people to help you unload the multiple pieces from the truck and verify all the pieces are there. Everything arrived safely.
    Tip: Make sure your footings are in place and level. I had the landscape architect redoing my backyard put in the footings with a laser level.
    A friend and I put up the pergola in two half days and than I put on the lattice top by myself in a single day. Everything went smoothly and the pergola was level and square.
    As you can tell from the attached photos I stained all the parts to match the trim paint on the house. This staining took me over a week to complete. The installation instructions for the kit were spot on.
    If you want maximum shade the lattice roof is a must. I would highly recommend a kit from Pergola Kits USA.

    The whole process, from beginning to end, was seamless. Fred was great, knowledgeable and very excited about their product coming to Hawaii. He was really thoughtful in his recommendations on options that might suit out location well.
    We are thrilled... it looks great... and has weathered one winter on the North Shore of Oahu with no worries. Cannot recommend more highly- these guys are terrific.

    Any time I had questions about the measurements (because I had people install the footers before I had the kit), they answered them quickly, and gave me a great diagram that I could use.
    The pergola came to me quickly and was packed well, and the wood was beautiful. I couldn't be more happy with their work.

    This kit had precision cuts with all pieces, including all fasteners. I would recommend using a duct jack to lift heavier beams into place. Well made, well worth it. An investment that adds value to your house.

    This pergola was purchased for a community garden and was assembled by a team of volunteers. Fred was INSTRUMENTAL in the success of this project. He carefully advised me in the selection of the pergola/materials and site preparation.
    There were a lot of volunteers involved over several weekends to install it and getting it right the first time was so helpful. Great working with Fred and we could not be happier with the outcome.

    All said and done, we love our structure (20 by 24ft) very much. I use it as a carport in front of my garage. The quality was very good. I did make it better reinforcing the roof and trimming the gaps.
    We gave it a 3 color paint job and added gutters.

    Great experience I purchased a 16X16 vinyl pergola with a metal roof. I only wish I had used them for installation, I struggled finding a decent contractor to install in the Florida heat.
    Great product use them for install also, their install price is less than a local contractor.

    We love our pergola. Our landscaper put the kit together for us and said it was super easy. Two men put it together in a day. No need to recut or adjust anything.
    It's been up now for a full year and still looks beautiful. No shrinkage, no warping.

    Although there was some confusion during product delivery, the problem was taken care of quickly and our pergola went up without a hitch! The fit and finish was excellent and the follow up customer service was very good as well!

    This was a unique build as we had to tie one side of the pavilion into an existing flat roof. Since this was going to be 3' taller than standard, we decided to go with an 8X8 build. It is BEEFY.
    Every time I enter the pavilion and the aroma of cedar hits me and I see this massive beautiful structure I can't help but smile and instantly relax. What an incredible space!
    Every project like this is going to have hiccups and mine had a few minor ones like plan revisions and challenges with attaching the pavilion to an existing flat rubber roof. However, Fred and his design team as well as their on site assembly team were all quick to respond, discuss, revise, and explain everything from my initial inquiry to after completion. Communication couldn't be better.
