Our Red Cedar Open Gable Pavilion is a surefire way to gather all your friends and family together in one place, your own backyard. Our 100% western red cedar construction is a terrific choice for those looking to add a structure that is both durable and beautiful to their outdoor environment. 

How Measured and Quoted: Roof spans are 8" - 21" larger than nominal size, while post centers are 12" smaller than nominal size. For example, if you order a 12x14 size, your roof span will measure 12'-8" x 15'-9", and your post centers will measure 11" x 13" with 6x6 posts (with 8x8 posts, post centers are 2" less than with 6x6 posts).   

Number of posts: An 18x18 is the largest size that still has four posts using standard sized beams. Larger sizes have 6 or 8 posts unless you upgrade to larger timbers. 

Base package includes:

• All Western Red Cedar construction, Appearance Grade, kiln-dried and sanded smooth to the touch
• Nominal 6x6 posts, 8ft tall (thicker and taller available) 
• 1x6 tongue and groove roof decking for a beautiful interior ceiling
• Post base moldings to conceal post brackets
• Powder coated post brackets secured by stainless steel wedge anchors
• Corner braces in our half moon design stabilize your structure
• 4x8 headers on each of four sides, can span 17ft between posts without sag
• 6:12 roof pitch (other pitches available to meet height restrictions)
• Roof overhang of 7 1/2" on each side as you look at the gable, and 14" on each end as you look at the eave
• Galvanized hardware or stainless steel per your choice
• 30 year architectural style asphalt shingles (choice of 9 colors) with Elephant skin underlayment
  
• Assembly manual with 'easy guide' instructions
