When the sun is moving lower in the sky, and your guests start shielding their eyes from the sun, a retractable side shade is the ideal solution. And one made from long lasting marine-grade fabric is worth its weight in gold.
Our side shade is genuine Phifertex™ Canopy Fabric, made in the USA (North Carolina). It retracts smoothly up and down, for easy operation. It blocks 92.5% of the sun, but allows a breeze through to reduce the risk of damage from high wind.
The shade extends down 8ft for full coverage from the hot sun. It is warrantied for five years. This exterior fabric is mold and mildew resistant.
We make this shade in ANY size, even to the inch. For example, if you need a shade 8'-7" wide, no problem. Sizes range from 8ft wide to 18ft wide, and can be made to accommodate any size structure. The fabric runs from post center to post center.
