We love your new classic cedar pergola. It wasnt difficult for our landscaping company to erect and install. The ordering process was easy and Alyssa was great to work with. She answered all our questions throughout the entire process.

The delivery was seamless, the driver called us when he was near our home. The only small issue was the timeline was longer than 6 weeks.

We are very pleased with our pergola. It looks great and the charcoal color is a nice contrast to the gray and white house. Delivery was on time, and the driver was very careful about stacking it properly.

Not bad to assemble with 2 guys handy, especially given that is 22x20. Instructions could have been a little more detailed is spots, but we figured it out.

Only complaint is that some of the 2x2 runners were quite twisted, so we had to man-handle them a bit to get them screwed down on the lines. Also had to widen a few of the notches where they didn't quite line up.

Lots of good comments from family who have seen it. Amos (sales person) was great, and answered a lot of questions I had (being a detail guy). He also made changes I asked for very quickly and confirmed everything by e-mail.

Everything was good except for the electrical trim piece there was no instructions on where and how to mount it

9x18 pavilion with third gable

The product itself is way above top notch. we love the overall look and feel it gives our yard.

Now that the good parts are done, on with the bad part; the directions where no were near correct, the drawings were not correct, the product had no labels on the boards at all.

we actually ended up having to switch the headers after we had them installed. That was just the start of the problems with installation.

if my wife and I did not have construction experience; we probably would not have been able to complete the job. For those that are not construction savvy and may need proper labeling and step by step instructions this may not be the product for you.

However we may the needed changes on the fly and we love the structure.

15x15 Serenity Vinyl Pergola

It took a while to get it, but it was easy for my husband and I to build. After building it it look great, but eventually we noticed one of the pine posts had bowed and we asked for a replacement.

We received it just this week via FedEx and we will be replacing the bowed pine in a couple days.

5x13 Classic Cedar Pergola

The pergola was easy to install, two novices put it up in 6 hours, including footing work a day before we put it up. Instructions and the frame boards to keep it square were very helpful.

The paint color matched what was intended and the finished product looks great in our backyard and adds functionality to our patio we didn't have before.

13x16 Classic Vinyl Wall-Mounted Pergola

I found the pergola kit relatively easy to assemble following the instructions. I think it looks great. One of the top runners arrived with some minor damage.

I was also short four of the 4inch white screws needed to attach the corner braces to the top beams. So, at present, I only have one screw inserted from each side instead of the specified two screws from each side.

It still seems very rigid with only the single screws.I designed and fabricated some vinyl lattice panels that are suspended from the outer runners and beams at the two corner posts.

We are very happy with our pergola it looks great. The cedar is beautiful and was in perfect shape when we unpacked for assembly. The instructions where awesome and easy to follow and I believe your employee's where in the illustrations.

The kit was shipped with a full quart of matching stain which will be nice for next year to restrain. We ordered our kit prestained.

It was challenging getting the correct parts to have it installed. An additional shipment had to be sent and next got delayed by several months. The PergolaKitUSA team was very helpful and worked hard to resolve the issues we faced.

The pergola looks very nice, endured a snowy winter with no signs of wear and tear.

Impressive

We have been extremely happy with our pavilion. Our builder was impressed with how complete the kit was and how well the parts fit together. Everyone who comes to visit simply loves it.

We installed a large fan in it and we find it to be much cooler even on hot days. It has been a great addition to our property and perfect next to the pool.

We have seen a few splits and we had a few of the timbers with some burns, but we placed them on the back side. But everything else has been spot on. I would say the company acted very professionally as well.

If you really wants some mileage, add an outdoor fireplace, outdoor tv, and comfortable furniture.

Great pergola kit and successful install. No major issues with product or delivery (long lead time due to supply limitations).

Recommend J-bolts into the concrete footers for extra security (rather than setting the concrete then drilling in the supplied anchors). Overall the team was responsive to work with on our order.

Product itself gets a 5 star rating our pergola came exactly as ordered, was so simple to put together. Highly recommend this company fr their pergolas. I would certainly use them again.

Fred was great in helping with and understanding our design and needs. Looks beautiful and fully assembled in a weekend.

Only thing keeping from 5 stars (would give 4.5 if I could) was that there seemed to be a lack of communication between customer service, production, shipping...

Could never get a straight answer on when it would ship (as we approached the week it was supposed to ship and then when cs gave me a date it showed up two days early...just wasn't quite prepared but again not the end of the world....

again highly recommend company and their products!

12x14 Classic Cedar Pergola

It's a beautiful kit and it comes with everything you need to build it. No missing parts. I had a carpenter put it together. It does take some expertise so this isn't really for the novice.

One important improvement: Pergola Kits USA needs communicate better. I had to contact them about updates. They did not contact me about delays. The delays are understandable, of course, because of the pandemic, but not the lack of communication.

12x24 Grand Cedar Pavilion

Wood came in pretty decent packing but there were gouges in several of the pieces from shipping. Overall the kit was fairly easy to put together. Some of the instructions could be a little more detailed.

Also, it seemed like the wood was cut before it dried as several pieces warped and cracked severely making them difficult to align and install.

I'll start with that the pergola I purchased is of very good materials and craftsmanship. The delivery had no problems the driver of the shop truck was very good and very helpful.

The main issue I had was it took longer than than I thought it should but I understand that this year is very unusual. Also there is a lack of communication to the buyer on what is going on with the purchase.

An occasional email would have helped to ease the process because this is a large purchase sight unseen and when you don't hear anything you feel maybe you got screwed over.

Also on larger kits you should add center boards to the template because the wood flexes . It would helped keep everything inline and squared.

24-10 x 17-5 Fiberglass Wall-Mounted Pergola

First off, Fred is very nice and he follow through with his promises. First delivery, my header board and the 2 support beams were the wrong size. So I had to wait another 3 weeks to get the correct materials, which put me behind schedule.

Assembly instructions are a joke. They were written in a way that did not include my application - a Wall mount pergola. Poor first impression with the instructions. No where did anyone tell me why there were 2 different bases for the columns.

So naturally, I installed the larger bases. Little did I know that the larger bases do not easily accommodate the installation of a railing. I had to cut them off and fabricate my own bases.

Another bad impression that could have been avoided if the instructions were accurate and updated. During delivery, the crate was slightly damaged, thus I had to repair the end of one of the support beams.

Be prepared for monster crates to arrive at your driveway. And since I had to have a 2nd delivery, I had 2 of these huge 22 foot long crates to dispose of. Now twice the expense because they shipped the wrong parts to begin with.

Now that is is up and erected, all looks good and it has functioned well for 2 months. I hope the durability stays good in our Colorado weather.

Please call me in 8 years and let me review your pergola after we see how well it lasts! Again, Fred was very nice to deal with. I wish the process had gone smoother.

We have enjoyed the pergola. We have had it for about 16 months. The quality is good and it was easy to assemble with two guys. The stain has not held up as I thought it would. But sun will do that.

We purchased this for a customer. Great Design, quality materials, and helpful customer service. One piece was broken during shipping, called and replacement was sent right out.

Aside from the broken piece during shipping, we had one other issue with the cut on a top plate. One of them had wider than 45 angles and left small gaps on each side in the corners. The gaps really were small but they bothered the customer so we filled them in.

Looks awesome, setup was relatively easy.

The only change I would make is to explain the anchoring kit for concrete. Our contractor thought he'd have to dig a post hole and fill it so we got the posts about two feet longer than standard. The kit came with steel footings to anchor the post to a concrete pad which is what we did after we cut the posts by 24 inches.

Here in the northwest, having a covered shelter allows for BBQ'ing even in the off season. This one looks great and is a nice property improvement.

Fred was a pleasure to work with. I ordered a custom kit and experienced no issues interfacing with their design people. I also have a 450' driveway and Pergola kits made special delivery arrangements for me (at no extra cost)

great instructions, came with what we needed. So glad we went with you since we needed a custom size!

really need a forklift to unload, we had 7 guys and not enough muscle still, ended up using all kinds of boards with wheels and what ever we could come up with. The truck driver was very helpful and patient though.

Well designed and easy to assemble. EXCELLENT and helpful communication

Delivery is always a bugaboo. The carefully built wooden crate was demolished when the truckers were through with it, but the pergola parts only had a few blemishes. Fred offered to replace them but I didn't feel they were severe enough to warrant that expense to the company. Assembly straightforward but not without hiccups.

We have really enjoyed it. It was made of solid material and we expect that it will last many years.

Our only compliant is that the assembly instructions where not very detailed. The online videos helped some, but there is no attached videos which made it difficult at times. It would have been great to have a little more direction.

Now that it's up, It's great and we use it daily

The delivery was great. The assembly was dificult with only 3 people. The roof panels needed to be cut to the correct size but once done, the finishing work was a piece of cake. We did damage a couple of vinyl parts to which the company replaced at no cost. The main change I would like to see is the roof panels be a smaller and easier to lift up.

Cedar Pergola Kit 10 x 16

Easy to build and nicely thought out. Looks custom; you would never know it's a kit. Lots of compliments from neighbors and passers by.

Very difficult to unload. The FedEx Freight guy had no idea how he was going to get it off his truck. We had to be innovative and managed to slide it out without breaking anything, but it took a big floor jack and some significant time. At one point the driver was determined to take it back to the freight depot and make me pick it up there. Assembly was easy, and everything went together as expected. I was short a few screws for one or two items, but I made do with screws I had around the garage. The only quality concern I have is with the decorative footers. The footer cap pieces were a few degrees off of 45, so they didn't come together very well. And they were quite a bit too long, which resulted in a significant gap between the cap pieces and the posts. Overall very happy with the product.

Classic vinyl pergola

Excellent, but I had a very professional installer, who did a great job. Definitely not a job for an amateur. Practical and attractive looks beautiful against my house, It solves a long runnnig problem of too much sun on the western exposure.

There was some cutting and adjustments made in places where it should have not been necessary, if the specs were followed exactly. The canopy I purchased does the job of cutting down the sun light, but was expensive and is hard to clean. At the end of the season, October, I took it down and brushed vigorously with soap and water, but could not get the some of the dirt stains out. On balance, I regret spending the money for the canopy.
